It was fantastic to be back in Malawi and Zambia for my recent assignment on behalf of Outreach International and World Hunger Fund. I wanted to post a few images from the trip. I usually process the images for full-colour output as I know that is what my clients are most likely to use in their communication material. However, I decided to edit a few into black and white. The feel of a black and white image is so different to that of colour. When an image is stripped of its colour, your eyes are more likely to absorb the content of the photo, and there’s a subtlety to the tones of a black and white image.
With this in mind, I decided to post some of the monochrome shots from Malawi and Zambia –
